Ingredients:
- 200g of all-purpose flour
- 200g of granulated sugar
- 150ml of vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 300g of grated carrots
- 100g of crushed walnuts
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 1 tsp of baking soda
- 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 100g of cream cheese
- 50g of confectioners' sugar for frosting
Kitchen Tools Needed:

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until pale and creamy; then slowly add in the vegetable oil while continuing to whisk until fully combined.
- Fold in the grated carrots and crushed walnuts to the egg mixture.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined without overmixing.
- Pour the batter into a greased and floured baking pan and smooth the top evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- While the cake is baking, prepare the frosting by mixing the cream cheese and confectioners' sugar until smooth.
- Once the cake is cooled, spread the cream cheese frosting evenly on top.
