Ingredients:

  • 4 gourmet hot dog sausages
  • 4 artisan hot dog buns

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 small jalapeño, finely diced
  • 1 cup sauerkraut
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions:

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  • Grill the sausages for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally until they are evenly browned and cooked through.
  • While the sausages are grilling, heat a pot over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Assemble the hot dogs by placing the grilled sausage in the buns, adding a generous amount of the jalapeño relish, and topping with caramelized onions and a drizzle of Dijon mustard.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
