Ingredients:

  • 500g of all-purpose flour
  • 10g of instant yeast
  • 300ml of warm water
  • 10g of salt
  • 20ml of olive oil
  • 15g of fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 15g of fresh thyme, chopped
  • 5g of sugar

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Baking Tray
  • Rolling Pin
  • Pastry Brush

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the flour and salt together.
  • Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour mixture, and knead until a smooth dough forms.
  • Incorporate the chopped herbs into the dough and knead for another 2 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces and shape them into round rolls.
  • Place the rolls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and let them rise for 10 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F) while the rolls are rising.
  • Brush the tops of the rolls with olive oil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
