Ingredients:

  • 500g of ground beef
  • 4 slices of smoked bacon
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 whole wheat burger buns
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • Fresh lettuce leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for grilling

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Grill
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spatula
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board

Instructions:

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • In a mixing bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then form into 4 patties.
  • Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then set aside on paper towels to drain excess fat.
  • Grill the beef patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, adding a slice of cheddar cheese on top during the last minute to melt.
  • While the patties are grilling, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill until golden brown.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun, then topping with crispy bacon, sliced avocado, red onion, and fresh lettuce.
  • Cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately with your favorite condiments.
