 Expert Lemon Garlic Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 300g of spaghetti
  • 400g of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 100ml of olive oil
  • 150g of cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 50g of fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Large Pot
  • Skillet
  • Colander
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Serving Plates

Instructions:

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  • Stir in the cherry tomatoes and cook for another 2 minutes until softened.
  • Add the lemon juice and zest to the shrimp mixture, stirring to combine. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Toss the cooked spaghetti into the skillet, mixing well to coat the pasta with the sauce.
  • Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
