Ingredients:
- 500g of bread flour
- 25g of sugar
- 10g of salt
- 10g of instant yeast
- 300ml of warm water
- 50g of malt syrup
- oil for greasing

Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the bread flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast.
- Gradually add warm water, mixing until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough with a towel and let it rise in a warm place for 10 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Divide the dough into 5 equal portions and shape each into a ball. Poke a hole in the center and stretch it to form a bagel shape.
- In a pot, bring water to a boil and stir in malt syrup. Boil each bagel for 1-2 minutes per side, then place them on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake the bagels in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow the bagels to cool on a wire rack before serving.
