Ingredients:

  • 10 chicken thighs (about 1.5kg)
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons hot paprika
  • 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Juice of 4 lemons
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, hot paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce to create a marinade.
  • Place the chicken thighs in a large roasting pan and pour the marinade over them, ensuring each piece is well coated. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  • Arrange the chicken thighs skin-side up on a baking sheet, and roast in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
  • For a crispy skin, you may want to broil the chicken for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs, if desired, and serve the hot and spicy roast chicken with your favorite sides.
