Expert Spaghetti Aglio e Olio with a Twist

Ingredients:
- 400g of spaghetti
- 80ml of olive oil
- 6 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon of dried red chili flakes
- 100g of fresh parsley, chopped
- 75g of grated Parmesan cheese
- salt to taste
Kitchen Tools Needed:

Instructions:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced garlic and cook for about 2 minutes until golden brown.
- Stir in the red chili flakes and remove from heat.
- Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve 100ml of the pasta water and drain the rest using a colander.
- Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with garlic and chili oil, and toss to combine.
- If the pasta seems dry, add some reserved pasta water to achieve the desired consistency.
- Stir in chopped parsley and mix well.
- Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and additional parsley if desired.
