Ingredients:

  • 500g of ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 4 slices of provolone cheese
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 large green bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Skillet
  • Chef's Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Spatula

Instructions:

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet and sauté until soft and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Push the vegetables to one side and add the sliced ribeye steak to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Cook the ribeye for about 3-4 minutes, until browned and cooked through, stirring occasionally.
  • Once the steak is ready, mix it with the onions and peppers in the skillet.
  • Divide the mixture into four portions in the skillet and place a slice of provolone cheese on top of each portion to melt.
  • While the cheese melts, lightly toast the hoagie rolls on a separate skillet or oven.
  • Once the cheese is melted, spoon the cheesesteak mixture into the toasted hoagie rolls.
