Ingredients:
- 500g of ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 4 slices of provolone cheese
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 large green bell pepper, sliced
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Skillet
- Chef's Knife
- Cutting Board
- Spatula
Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet and sauté until soft and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
- Push the vegetables to one side and add the sliced ribeye steak to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Cook the ribeye for about 3-4 minutes, until browned and cooked through, stirring occasionally.
- Once the steak is ready, mix it with the onions and peppers in the skillet.
- Divide the mixture into four portions in the skillet and place a slice of provolone cheese on top of each portion to melt.
- While the cheese melts, lightly toast the hoagie rolls on a separate skillet or oven.
- Once the cheese is melted, spoon the cheesesteak mixture into the toasted hoagie rolls.
