Ingredients:

  • 250g of dark chocolate
  • 150g of unsalted butter
  • 250g of granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 95g of all-purpose flour
  • 30g of cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 100g of chocolate chips

  • Mixing bowl

  • Parchment paper
  • Oven

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Melt dark chocolate and unsalted butter in a mixing bowl over a pot of simmering water, stirring until smooth.
  • Remove the bowl from heat and allow it to cool for a few minutes.
  • Incorporate granulated sugar into the cooled chocolate mixture, whisking until fully combined.
  • Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  • Sift together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then fold gently into the chocolate mixture until no dry ingredients remain.
  • Stir in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow cooling before cutting into squares and serving.
