Ingredients:

  • 5 Bratwurst sausages
  • 200ml of ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons of curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions:

  • Preheat the grill to medium heat and cook the bratwurst sausages until they are browned and heated through, about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally.
  • In the meantime, heat the olive oil in a sauté pan over medium heat, add the finely chopped onion, and cook until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • In a blender, combine the ketchup, curry powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth, adjusting the seasoning to taste.
  • Once the sausages are cooked, slice them into bite-sized pieces and place them on a serving platter.
  • Drizzle the curry sauce over the sliced sausages, ensuring they are well coated.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with crispy fries or bread rolls.
