Ingredients:
- 300g lasagna noodles
- 500g ground beef
- 400g ricotta cheese
- 300g mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 100g parmesan cheese, grated
- 800g marinara sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until translucent.
- Add the ground beef to the saucepan, season with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil; cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the parmesan cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- In a baking dish, spread a layer of the meat sauce, followed by a layer of lasagna noodles, then a layer of the ricotta mixture, and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers, finishing with meat sauce and a generous top layer of mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
