Ingredients:

  • 500g of cooked short-grain rice
  • 200g of spinach, blanched and chopped
  • 150g of carrots, julienned and sautéed
  • 150g of shiitake mushrooms, sliced and sautéed
  • 100g of zucchini, julienned and sautéed
  • 5 eggs, fried sunny-side up
  • 50g of gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 30ml of sesame oil
  • 50g of roasted sesame seeds
  • Salt to taste

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Rice cooker
  • Frying pan
  • Wok
  • Chopping board
  • Knife

Instructions:

  • Prepare the rice according to the instructions in the rice cooker and keep it warm.
  • In a wok, add a little sesame oil and sauté the carrots until tender. Season with salt and set aside.
  • Sauté the sliced shiitake mushrooms in the wok until golden. Set aside.
  • Sauté the julienned zucchini in the wok until soft. Set aside.
  • In another pan, fry the eggs sunny-side up.
  • To assemble, place a portion of rice in a bowl and arrange the sautéed vegetables, spinach, and a fried egg on top.
  • Drizzle with sesame oil, add gochujang to taste, and sprinkle with roasted sesame seeds before serving.
